Custom/ semi-custom home builder is searching for an Architectural Designer with residential construction experience.    This position reports directly to the Director of Product Management & Design.  This is a growing company with great opportunities for advancement!

Job Duties:

• Work with team members across the company to create new designs and work with the existing library of models to customize them according to the needs of the customer.
• Help with moving all designs from current program to Revit.
• Complete preliminary SRTS as well as final construction documents
• Produce Bill of Material (BOM)
• Become knowledgeable in residential billing codes.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of residential design and drafting experience.
• Must be proficient with AutoCAD and other 3D computer drafting/modeling software.
• Revit and Sketchup experience a definite plus.
• At least a basic knowledge of residential building codes is required.
• A team player with a strong work ethic is essential.
• Experience producing BOM (bill of materials) is a plus but not required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
