As the capital of the US, Washington, DC is rich in history and has many different landmarks. One major landmark is the National Mall, which is a large park situated between the Washington Monument and the US Capitol. Another major landmark, the Lincoln Memorial, is a large building situated directly across from the Washington Monument.
